Our story
Founded to make a difference
Sapphire Shield Security was founded by Danni Catherall. After many years in customer-facing and community-focused roles, Danni moved into security in 2023 and quickly found that her ability to observe, communicate calmly and de-escalate conflict was a natural fit.
Working across bars, clubs, festivals, football fixtures and a wedding, she noticed how few women were represented in the industry. Sapphire Shield Security is her response: a company that delivers professional, approachable security while encouraging more women to enter, develop and thrive in the sector.
